Studio Portraits
A new photographic experience like no other!
Come As You Are, raw and unpolished.
No traditional posing, no smiling on command.
We simply have conversation.
I will be there just to listen and photograph.
Be willing to trust me.
I promise no judgement, no advice.
Be yourself with no one else around.
See yourself in a new way.
There is a purpose in sharing your story. Even if you don't see it and you get the feeling no one cares. It builds within you a strength that will cary you through the chaos.
This project is all about giving you space to feel heard, and the images to remind you of that strength.
As someone who usually feels awkward posing for photos, this was the perfect experience. It’s hard to evoke genuine emotion while staring into a camera lens, but reflecting on my life with Tiffany while she photographed me removed all the awkwardness. The session didn’t feel performative. It felt real.
She asked thoughtful questions that never felt like forced vulnerability. Instead, she gave me the freedom to reflect on my own terms. It was easy to forget she was even taking pictures, yet it never felt like an interview. She created space for me to verbally process my life and move through both the highs and the lows in a way that celebrated my story. And she honored that process by artfully documenting it.
We spent time on serious topics where she patiently listened and photographed, and other moments where we were playful and creative together. I never felt over-directed or unsure of what to do. It was a true collaboration- something I’ve never experienced in a photo session before. Tiffany has a rare combination of emotional intelligence and technical skill that allows her to run the session with confidence and care.
One of my favorite parts was pausing to look through the photos together before moving to a new area of the studio. We laughed at the occasional mid-sentence shot and admired the nuance she captured in the in-between moments. I could tell her which images resonated most, explain the meaning behind the rings I was wearing, or share why watching the snowflakes fall moves me the way it does. Seeing what she was capturing in real time gave me the courage to fully embrace the experience and celebrate where I am in this season of life.
