I am an introvert who loves spending time with other people. Weird, I know! I believe that what matters most in this life is the intentional time we spend with those we care about the most. The memories that we take away from those times are the moments I want to capture for you, so they will not be forgotten. Those photos will be a reminder of your love and commitment to each other and will give you strength when life gets tough.
I would love to spend some intentional time with you.
I'm originally from Maryland, but really, I can't lie, I'm a Texas girl! There is a wide variety of creatives in my family from painters to musicians to carpentry, so naturally and luckily I inherited a bit of that! I've always loved many types of art forms but my passion developed into creating imagery through photography while in college. I love photographing people as they are naturally. Even if the kids aren't smiling or not everyone is looking at the camera, that's ok because that's real life. I love to capture real life. We only get one, so why not capture it the way it's supposed to be!
My philosophy is simple. I encourage you to spend time with those you love the most, and I'll capture photos of the priceless moments that you will cherish forever, to hang on your walls to remind you of the joy and love you have for each other.
Your wedding will be full of details, and big moments, excitement, and tears of joy. Your memories deserve to be captured, protected, and preserved as an heirloom for generations after you. Marriage is a sacred union and an amazing witness of your love for each other. When I photograph your wedding day, I am not only your photographer, but friend, cheerleader, and supporter. I can help you plan your wedding day specifically with photography in mind, so that not a single moment is missed!
Life doesn't stop after marriage. It is merely continuing with a new plan! Commemorate the milestones in life with an anniversary session, holiday card photos, and more. If you are blessed to start a family of your own, be intentional to document your joy and anticipation with a maternity session and the birth (or adoption). They say that time flies as your children grow up, and that couldn't be more true! Slow down for a moment to capture their milestones and birthdays. You will look back on them some day with sleep deprived eyes and remember the joy and draw strength from those photos when life is tough. I would love nothing more than to walk along side you through all of these adventures!
